    "This is an excellent guesthouse in which to stay while visiting Melville. We had the family room in front, and it was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and arranged nicely. Regarding the latter comment, the room is actually two rooms separated by a door, which is nice when traveling with kids. I also saw two other rooms, each of which were unique and really nice. Although I didn't get a chance to make use of it, the guesthouse has a nice deck overlooking the front area, which would be wonderful for enjoying a drink in the afternoon sun. Finally, if you're visiting Melville to eat, drink, and have fun, this guesthouse is perfectly situated: it's located just around the corner from all that's happening on 7th Street. You can't go wrong with this place."

    "The room was wonderful - comfortable beds, nice furnishings, spacious, large bathroom with a tub and nice shower. The staff was very helpful and friendly - they were very responsive and helpful when I emailed them questions before our stay and they gave great advice about good places to go in the neighborhood (which is great too - the guesthouse is just around the corner from a ton of cute restaurants/cafes/bars/shops, etc). Breakfast in the morning was delicious and included a lot of food and several options. The only possible cons I can think of (if they're important to you) is that there was no air conditioning or cable."

    "Our two-night stay at 84 on Fourth was well-priced and extremely pleasant! The owner, Aubrey, was really friendly and made us feel instantly at home. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms attractive and spotless. In summary, there really isn't anything to complain about, and my friends and I are happy to know we have a perfect spot to come back to should we need accommodation in Melville again."

    "We were met by Aubrey at the gate and he's as friendly, accomodating and helpful in person as he was in our emails prior to our visit. The guest house is tasteful and elegant, the rooms comfy and spacious. The breakfasts were truly lavish and the staff lovely. The facility is also conveniently located near terrific restaurants and shops or wonderful walks through lovely neighborhoods. I will absolutely recommend 84 on Fourth to my fellow travellers!"

    "My partner and I arrived on a beautiful Saturday afternoon of October 2012. We were greeted and welcome by the owner and he correctly pronounced my last name—a plus! We stayed one night and pretty much everything was in order, love the garden too. Breakfast in the morning was ‘awesome,’ thanks to ever so friendly Aubrey and his team. Although we did not go out a night before, we recognise that 84 on 4th is located close to restaurants on the quiet streets of Melville and we think it’s the guest house worth visiting again and again, thank you."
