Mgwalana Beach House

Mgwalana Beach House is situated on the Mgwalana River Mouth, offering stunning views of the ocean. This beach house is isolated, and is only an hours drive to East London. There are no restaurants and shops close by, resulting in a peaceful and uninterrupted holiday setting.

This house sleeps up to 10 guests comfortably in four bedrooms. The bedrooms have queen-size, single or bunk beds. There is a spacious open-plan living area, with a pool table and a lounge that leads out to a large wooden veranda. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and there is a built-in braai.

Visitors are welcome to bring canoes and paddle up the river. There are also many fishing spots, and for the keen golfers, there is an 18-hole Gary Player golf course close by.

"uninterupted views, right on the beach and miles and miles of golden sand for the kids to run and ride bikes on. The house is ideal for 2 families of 4 - each with their own section of 2 bedrooms and their own full bathroom; and then a common living area + massive deck. I have never come across a better set up for when you have different aged kids, and diff nap times/bath times etc.The house is fully equipped, from DSTV to a slowcooker.My only negative is that some of the ballustrading along the front of the deck is loose - and that made us a bit nervous with the kids running around."
