  • "Hajo's"

    17 October 2013

"I would definitely recommend Hajo's for anyone wanting a clean, secure and comfortable B&B in the Milnerton area. Our check-in was professionally handled by Thuso. What is also really nice is the convenient location with restaurants and shops just across the road."

  • "Amazing home from home accommodation"

    12 January 2013

"Our stay at Hajo was amazing...It is closely situated to public transport. Throughout our vacation we used MyCiti buses which are very convinient and reliable. Comforter, Thuto and the chef made our stay comfortable and were helpful. We surely will visit Hajo's on our next trip to Cape Town...I would certainly rate it 9 out of 10."

  • "Great Great place to stay!!!!"

    15 June 2010

"From the simple on line booking to the pick up at the airport by Brian, and the 7 day stay everything was magnificent...........great hosts, informative, helpful and genuine. You feel like part of the family, away from the hustle and bustle of town and 15 minute cab ride and you are in the thick of it. Thank you Brian and Hajo and of course Alex for making my World Cup experience one to remember!"

  • "Hajo's is definately a number one choice."

    19 September 2007

"We stayed at Hajo's for five nights and were delighted with the guesthouse. It is only a 10 minutes drive to the Waterfront and there's a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Brian was a fantastic host and Alex the dog was a treat to come home to. Our room with the conservatory was to the highest standard of cleanliness and bed very comfortable. We had two small bottles of wine to greet us when we arrived which was a nice touch. Breakfasts were good too.Brian recommended a different restaurant each evening and we must say they were all excellent. We had such a lovely time that we really didn't want to leave. If ever we come back to Capetown Hajo's will be the place for us without a shadow of a doubt.Anne and Mark Lodziak Cambridge, England."

  • "Wonderful Warm Hosts and Home"

    19 June 2007

"The accommodations are clean and cozy. Alex is a great, well trained dog, always a pleasure to come home to see. The home is a no-go for anyone allergic to cigarettes, and taxis will cost about R300 round trip to Cape Town city center. That said, if you're looking for a restful holiday, the area is safe and very pleasant. Brian and Hajo were incredibly good, sweet, and fun hosts.Jenny and I missed them when we left, and look forward to visiting again.Reply from establishment :thanks for sending this new guest comment."All rooms at Hajo's Lodge are non-smoking, smoking is permitted in lounge and outside area only" "

  • "Wonderful stay"

    10 March 2006

"I had a wonderful experience at Hajo's Lodge and it was everything I was looking for.Brian and Hajo are both wonderful caring people who make the visitor feel very at home. The house is in a beautiful suburb of the city which allows one to feel part of the town but in a quiet, comfortable, and convenient location.A minute from the beach, 10 to the city, and a sense of community is great.I would encourage anyone from the US who is looking for a true sense of Cape Town to stay at the lodge. You will feel taken care of and get wonderful recommendations for your stay."

  • "A Lovely Place to Stay!"

    17 December 2005

"Hajo's Lodge was the last place we stayed in at the end of a fantastic month in South Africa. We were made welcome by Brian & his friendly dog Alex. The room in which we stayed had everything we needed & was beautifully decorated. We also enjoyed the two small bottles of wine we found on our pillows! There was a great choice for breakfast & we appreciated it when Brian prepared a light breakfast for us at 5.30 am on the last morning so that we could leave on time for the airport. We found the nearby shops & restaurants within walking distance & very convenient to use. A quiet location but the City was very easy to drive to & the west coast was a short journey away.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & if we are lucky enough to visit this beatiful country again would definitely put Hajo's Lodge at the top of our list."
