Sasane Camp

Sasane is a new safari camp designed with larger groups of guests in mind. It is located in the heart of the bush where animals and birds are in abundance. We have electric fencing around the camp to keep the elephants out as they wander past on their way to the Fevertree Dam close by. Built in close proximity to the shores of the Jozini Dam, it is the only dam in South Africa where the infamous tigerfish resides.

We offer two four-bedroom units that can accommodate eight guests each. The units have fully equipped kitchens, lounge areas and large outdoor areas with braai facilities for some relaxation. The outdoor area is paved and very shady under the large umbrella thorn trees. The bathrooms are set apart from the units with showers, basins and toilets. Each unit has its own bathroom with a private entrance.

We service the unit daily, with all linen and towels supplied. Firewood and ice are for sale at the lodge during reception hours. Guests are allowed to drive from their accommodation to the lake along the roads indicated on the map provided at the gate. Guests can also arrange with the lodge for a fascinating night drive. We welcome guests who prefer to bring their own boats as we have a private slipway and a mooring bay.
