  • "Personalized service"

    02 April 2013

"The service is personalised giving the feeling of being home. However the finishing in the rooom allocated to me was not to standard as advertised in the websites. Otherwise, great place to have spent a weekend."

  • "Not three star"

    15 October 2012

"Directions poor. Name on the building not visible, drove past it twice. GPS coordinates not correct. Roof was leaking. Room doors can't lock and main gate can't lock. Staff friendly, breakfast was okay. Not three star material."

  • "Comfortable stay"

    08 October 2012

"We enjoyed our stayover at Toro Guesthouse. We originally lost our way a bit because the directions were vague, but we were phoned regularly to find out where we were and re-directed. The guesthouse is really not far from Sun City. The breakfast was tasty and very filling. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The stayover was good value for money."

  • "Lovely stay"

    09 May 2012

"This B and B show great potential. It was very neat and clean, however they need to pay some attention to small things like the light fittings, that had no covers on them as well as locking the main gate to the place. Please fix your GPS co ordinates on your website, as they were totally incorrect and we battled to find the place. The hospitaity was great!"

"We stayed here for two nights. What a nice surprise. Behind the wall was 10 very nice rooms. It was super clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast much more than we could eat. Real value for money and I will definitely visit again!"

  • "Absolutely awesome!"

    04 October 2011

"I stayed at Toro for two nights during the Spring Break weekend this year and, to be honest, I enjoyed it more than Sun City and Spring Break itself! The area is safe, quiet and very close to Sun City and the service we received was excellent! Rooms were amazing, breakfast was fantastic and the people that work there, as well as the people I met there, were wonderful! Thank you!"

  • "Overnight stay at Toro"

    12 July 2011

"We were a bit sceptical at first because the guest house was in a rural area called Mogwase, but on arrival we were stunned by the layout of the guest rooms - very modern and clean. The Mogwase area is very safe and very quiet. We had no problems. Even after our show at Sun City, arriving back at three in the morning, we had no problems. We would recommend this guest house to anyone that needs to stay close to Sun City. You go Idah."
