  "Room was clean, honestly it was a really decent stay no one was rude or gave attitude as the other reviews stated but you do have to pay R50 cash deposit for the key and R200 deposit for the TV and A/C remotes which gets returned to you when you leave other than that its decent cost effective accomodation for a night."

  "My experience with Desert oasis was very bad ,the managers there we unfaithful and they blamed it ti Safarinow.I booked for 18 peaple,paid deposit of those people ,suprisingly when my people arrive there they were told that Safarinow had double boked the rooms therefore they are unable to accommodate the 18 people.We had to run around and look for another place.I was so disappointed and angry as one of the ladies there was rude when addressing the issue.Surely i will never ever again book at their place."

  "the place is not up to standard shame I booked 2 bedrooms and to my surprise both rooms had broken beds, geyser was not working water was very cold and when we complained we were told that the geyser is far that's why water is cold, they had broken cupboards in one room, if you want tea you had to go and ask them in their kitchen, I won't go there ever again"

  "The pictures on Desert Oasis is a bit misleading. Eventhough the rooms are sort of clean, it is very basic, bedding not of best quality and no towels. There are no coffee or tea facilities which seems to be a basic in most establishments. The reception staff is extremely rude, and made us feel unwelcome, as if they were doing us a huge favour for letting us sleep there.I would rather pay a bit more and get better service. They adbertise as B&B, but this was not even offered at all...."

  "We booked in at Desert Oasis this weekend for 1 night. The welcome we got - not very friendly at all. I think they can improve their friendliness and hospitality. They didn't even had the decency to call Safari to confirm that we paid in full. We had to do it ourselves. Problems with the electricity - making us believe that it was due to load shedding (but the streetlamps were working just fine).<div><br /></div><div>I would suggest that they add some basic coffee/tea necessities. There was no kettle or glasses provided like most places do.</div><div><br /></div><div>Other than that, Premises very clean and tidy. Rooms are quite private - which is a bonus.</div>"

  "We did not enjoy ANYTHING! 1. The personal in the reception is unprofessional, as well as we did not know who is actually working there but as I can figure out it is the lady and then her child and husband was with her. 2. She did not explain how it works in the kitchen she just said there is the kitchen, so what must I do know can I just take anything there or must I bring my own things? 3. We stayed in nr 12. the room was dirty when i got there it looked like white powder on the floor, there was hair in the shower, the paint is busy coming of the walls, there was only one cushion for each of us, there was 2 water glasses and a kettle. I just want to know for what? in the advert it did not say we must bring our own coffee and mugs? I have worked in a few guesthouses now and this was unprofessional you can do so much better! I am really disappointing and the thing is will never recommend or even go back to this guesthouse!"

  "Dit is 'n baie mooi en lekker plek om te bly. Die mense is ook baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Dit was 'n baie lekker naweek vir my en my seun. Baie dankie. Ek sal gerus weer daar gaan bly. It is a very beautiful, nice place to stay. The people are very friendly and helpful. It was an enjoyable weekend for my son and I. I will definitely stay there again."
