Ikhamanzi Bed and Breakfast

Ikhamanzi Bed and Breakfast is found just south of Johannesburg, in a rural area which adds to its rustic African atmosphere. There are three rooms and two tents for guests to choose from.

The Okavango Room has a double bed and the Maluti Room has a queen-size bed. The Induku Room has twin beds as well as additional accommodation for one in the loft. The Caprivi Tent has a double bed and the Kalahari Tent has twin beds. Each unit has their own TV, fridge and safe. Complementary tea and coffee facilities are provided. The units open onto private patios where guests can relax.

The area has a pleasant climate, rock pools and a swimming pool available on the property. For those wanting to explore, the Suikerbos Rand Nature Reserve is nearby and offers many trails to tackle.
Breakfast is not included in the rates, but we do offer different options which can be booked at a later stage.

"I attended a kitchen tea in Vereeniging (Mooilande) and decided to rather stay the night than drive back to Johannesburg. I received a warm welcome from Almut who showed me to my room which was lovely and spacious. I had a good night's sleep and was woken up by the sounds of the chicken and horses, definitely a nice change from waking up to cars and horns. Would definitely recommend a stay at Ikhamanzi B&B."

"The place was very quiet and pleasant to stay in. Being away from the City noise was something we needed to do. From the day when we were coming Almat (the host) was willing to wait for us late in the evening. She kept on communicating throughout even when we got lost. I knew from there that this was going to be a beautiful weekend. The place, rooms and food were very lovely."

"Ikhamanzi is a very beautiful place just a few km away from joburg and very easy to reach. It has that country feel and tranquil. It is very clean. The food is nice, wide variety accomodative to all food preferences. The owners are very friendly yet very professional.It is good value for money. It is accomodative to all age groups. We had a lovely time."
