  "GOOD MORNINGI need to complain about this accommodation. I dont know If you check the accommodation before you put them on your website, but this place is not close to the pics on your website. When we got there yesterday 12h30 the room that I booked was not ready they only started to clean it. Geoff the owner apparently told the staff to put me into another unit without consulting me. They were also still busy cleaning the unit.They told us there was another unit available that are already cleaned, they just need to do the bed. But WOW if that is clean I dont know what is.. It was disgusting the fridge was so dirty and the kitchen counters was still sticky and dead flies, toothpicks and I dont know what else still lying all over. The room smelt like meat and beer, so no chemicals was used to clean the room. The braai was so dirty it was disgusting.I dont even want to talk about the bathrooms..disgusting..disgusting.disgustingThe manager Michael was nowhere to be found, dont even think he was on the premises, and I did confirm with Geoff that we will be there as 12h00.We walked through the units took our stuff and left Pine Valley, there was no way the WE would stay at that disgusting place.It is false advertising to put up pics on a website that are not a true reflection of the real thing.Thanks"

  "Pine Valley is a beautiful place to stay and Geoff has built that whole place himself. It was a very short stay for us as we just stayed the night to attend a wedding but thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back.It is self catering and you have your own private kitchen and braai area which i loved."

  "We stayed in Weaver Chalet for 2 nights. Large cottage with enough beds. All beds had heated blankets... wonderful. Very warm and friendly owner Geoff handled all our queries beautifully and even gave permission to bring our Jack Russel along... Thank you!<div><br /></div><div>What was very sad was the small things that lacked... not enough plugs or extension leads to plug heated blankets in. We arrived at night and could not ask for assistance once we realised. We were told that we had a private little yard but there were continually people walking through our yard to staff quaters maybe? We were woken up every morning around 5 or 6 by people opening a side gate to walk through. Garden is neglected... Interior of cottage neglected. Handles missing and replaced with screws to grip onto. Walls in 1 bathroom so dirty that yellow orange water dripped on rug. Orange lines all along the wall as water runs down. Kitchen wash cloth and sponge old. Fridge and kitchen drawers not 100% clean.</div><div><br /></div><div>Could be a beautiful place with a little extra love and attention.</div>"

  "We enjoyed it, although we struggled a few minutes to get in on Saturday afternoon, because none of the three numbers at the gate was helpful and no one answered the bell! The pool/dam had a terrible smell the whole weekend. Very few crockery for a thatch that sleeps eight, everything not so clean. Some mattresses and the towels can be replaced! It's close to a busy road, the noise of the traffic and some planes were not so peaceful! We enjoyed the fire place and outside braai!"

  "Firstly, there was no one to greet us when we arrived, despite me sending an email to the owners to inform them of our arrival time. When someone did arrive, they didn't introduce themselves. The chalet itself has a very homely feel, for a self-catering chalet. The next morning we got up early as we were hot air ballooning, only to find that no-one had informed us to put the geyser on. So we had to take a cold shower at 4am in the morning. Check out time is 10am in the morning, but its stated in the pamphlet in the chalet that they are easy with the check out times. So as we having breakfast, the cleaner brings us our invoice and informs us that we should leave early as they expecting more guests that afternoon. No one had informed us about this when we arrived. So we had to finish our breakfast and be out of the chalet in about 20 minutes. The accommodation itself is fine, with close proximity to the sites of interest. But the service was really pathetic and below par. The lady that helped us settle our bill didn't even ask how our stay was. I would not recommend this establishment to any of my friends or family."

  "Het heerlik gebly en sal weer daar bly. Baie rustige en mooi omgewing. Het veral van die bokke en honde gehou. Dit het gevoel of ek by my eie huis was. Had an enjoyable stay and will stay here again. Very peaceful and beautiful environment. Especially liked the goats and the dogs. It felt like i was in my own house."

  "The venue itself has a very quaint and welcoming feel to it. The rooms are cosy, yet spacious. The addition of a fireplace is always a bonus. The surrounding attractions add to the feeling of escape from the bustling city life. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again!"

  "On arrival I was very pleased to see that it was the same place we had stayed at 7 years ago for another family wedding (but couldn't for the life of me remember the name) so it was "home from home".When we were leaving my husband discovered that he had misplaced his late fathers signet ring.The family searched the place and then decided it must be in a waistcoat pocket that had been returned - On arrival at our next destination (1 1/2 hrs away) we were informed that the ring was not there !I suggested to my husband that he phone Geoff and to see if they could try and find it - shortly Geoff phoned to advise it had been found - what a relief - I do not know of many places that go to the trouble Geoff and his staff did - Thank you."

  "The experience was just what we needed. Quiet and relaxing. Away from the busyness of the city life. The facilities were clean, neat and very comfortable. Not to mention fully equipped with all the necessities. The surrounding areas of interest, are only a short distance away e.g. Cradle of Humankind. Nothing is to much trouble for Geoff.
