"I enjoyed my stay at this place as it was my first time in Newcastle. The staff was hospitable and the room was wonderful."

  • "Disappointed"

    18 December 2012

"Had the worst stay of my life at Newcastle Inn, firstly was quoted incorrectly by Megan at the Inn through Safari Now, i had to call in to rectify the incorrect quote which i recieved, they did not contact me. Secondly there was no hot water in our rooms only found hot water after checking three other rooms, when i called reception to inform them of my problem, i was disconnected, and then rudely informed that someone was on their way. They then informed me that we should run the water for 15mins before it would warm up, which it never did, thats why we had to check 3 other rooms before finding a room where all plugs and hot water worked. At the end of our stay no apology was made for the inconvience caused. Will never ever stay there or recommend that disgusting Inn to anyone. Thank you. Kerisha Sebastian"

  • "Very disappointing"

    24 August 2012

"I had a very disappointing experiance and couldn't wait to leave. I am a non-smoker and cannot stand the smell of cigarette smoke. The room stank of cigarettes. The floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked and lifting and I was lucky not to cut my feet; I was in room 225. I will never stay there again and next time will look for a good B&B in the area."
