  "We had a lovely stay at the De Zeekoe Guest Farm. Friendly staff and the rooms were really luxurious and well equipped. We were however disappointed by the fact that there was only SABC 1 and 2 in the rooms and that in the main lounge there was a very limited satellite package. In addition we felt that the dinner was over priced for what we got and the fact that we needed to order dinner when we checked in was also not ideal."

  "We stayed in a cabin close to the pond -3 km away from the farm. In fact, it's a big wooden chalet, perfectly equipped. Very nice place. Surely one of the best places in this area. Many electricity breakdowns during the day. No internet except in the hotel."

  "We had a wonderful and very romantic stay in one of the cabins at the lake in De Zeekoe guesthouse! It had such a wonderful and peaceful view and atmosphere, we would certainly go back! Staff was also very friendly and food was delicious!!"

  "we stayed there for one night only but had a super time. Our room was beautifully furnished and had a lovely viewof distant mountains. Cindi was a lovely hostess and her staff were polite and helpfulwe really needed to get away and relax and its easy to feel relaxed at de zeekoe"

  "The hospitality at De Zeekoe Farm was absolutely great.I received a very warm welcome from Sarita.We were offered a refreshment and were then acquainted with the surroundings.The luxury suite was immaculate with a very comfortable king size bed and a gorgeous new-old victorian bath. It was beautifully decorated. The views from the balcony were beautiful overlooking the Swartberg Mountains and the sun set. The bird species varies over 160.A cooked English Breakfast was served which was delicious.The staff members serving breakfast were very friendly and helpful.This is a place to relax and unwind.It has a breathtaking view.The accommodation is very good value for money and I would highly recommend the Guest Farm.I would love to stay in the Waterfront Cabins - they are rustic and beautiful inside with a huge stone fireplace.Thank you to Sarita and Linda.You were superb hosts!"

  "This was a superb location surrounded by countryside, full of various varieties of birds. (Ideal for bird fanatics). The accommodation was of a high standard and facilities superb. Staff very helpful and friendly, organising and booking trips etc if required.Meals were fantastic.You can book evening meals if you wish which we fully recommend.If we were in this area again, this would be our first choice for accommodation."

  "Very nice and special, because we were in the self-catering chalet. Very quiet and close to nature, they are in front of a dam, 5 minutes drive on private dirt road from the main lodge-farm. Staff very hospitable. Would definitely recommend for those who want to be close to nature but with all modern commodities."

  "My daughter and I so enjoyed our de Zeekoe experience. The rooms were stylish and immaculate. The welcome from Christy was lovely. She also arranged dinners for us in Oudtshoorn which were all superb. We much enjoyed the ostrich farm visit. butthe Meerkat magic experience with Grant was so amazing we haven't stopped talking about it yet!Altogether the farm was a wonderful choice and we can't wait to return."

  "We stayed in the luxury waterfront cabins. The cabins are really luxury with very nice and clean bathrooms, air condition, etc. The cabins have a wonderful atmosphere and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy this magical and peaceful place. You can sit on the deck for hours and watch birds and enjoy the views.We had a delicious dinner and a great breakfast (of course with an ostrich egg). The staff was very friendly and we received an excellent service. We will definitely come back!!!"

  "'Out of Africa' is coming alive at this wonderful place! We stayed at one of the cabins and it was absolutely fantastic and one night was just to short. The setting of the breakfast nearby the pool was very idyllic. We can recommend this to everybody!"

We thoroughly enjoyed the 'Meerkats' experience with Grant. We went on an early morning tour and it was worth getting up before dawn. The area is asbolutely stunning!We would definitely go back to Oudsthorn and stay at your place again."

The accommodation is rustic but with all the comforts of home. <br/><br/>The view over the lake in the early morning is breathtaking an birdlife is spectacular. Ideal for a small family or romatic getaway for just two. <br/><br/>We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately reccommend it to others."
