"Calais Wine Estate is off the beaten track. It offers comfortable accommodation surrounded by the olive orchards and vineyards. You feel surrounded by nature and the chirping of birds. All of our needs were attentively taken care of by the Alberto and Anastasia. Wine tasting was sublime. We will be back."
"Friendly, welcoming and very pleasant host. Beautiful place to stay and escape from the city life. Highlight was the dogs and a peaceful stroll in the olive grove in the morning"

"Perfect for a weekend break. Many wine farms in the area and other activities to keep you occupied but also ideal for just relaxing on the patio next to the braai with a glass of wine."
"We had a lovely stay in the family cottage. It was really clean and neat and the owner was very helpful. We ordered a breakfast picnic basket and it was more than enough for that two of us. A lot of thought went into it and we could not have been happier. Thank you for having us and we will definitely be back again."
"Three of us had a perfect stay at this wonderful cottage. A large and well equipped cottage with beautiful walks through the farm. Great braai area in front of the cottage too with the company of the farm dogs. <br/>Melt was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back for another weekend!"
"The cottage is so badly equipped. The website says "fully equipped", that is absolutely not true. There were hardly any utensils in the kitchen, we couldn't find a pair of scissors, no bread knife, no egg lifters and the list goes on and on. We even had to ask for a braai tongs and then had to keep washing them so that we could move the wood and charcoal first and then turn the meat as there wasn't even one pair to start with never mind two.And so the list goes on. The TV was so snowy that we couldn't watch it and the batteries in the TV remote had leaked so badly that the remote was damaged and couldn't be used so we had to keep getting up to change the channel. No tiles for bricks outside to even resemble some sort of patio and the cottage faces onto the manager's house.Overrated and over expensive for what it is."
"We had a wonderful short stay, would have liked to be there longer. It is beautiful, neat, clean and very peaceful. We'll be back.Karlien Willer"
