Hartebeeskraal Self-catering Cottage

This charming 1800's farmhouse is nestled at the foot of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains, in the heart of the Winelands. Situated between Paarl and Franschhoek, it offers you closeness to a wide variety of restaurants and well-known tourism facilities.

The farm Hartebeeskraal lies opposite two famous golf courses, namely Boschenmeer and Pearl Valley, as well as the Polo Estate, Val die Vie. This makes it the perfect getaway spot for sport enthusiasts. It is situated 2.4 km from the N1 and a scenic 15 minute drive to Franschhoek.

The cottage offers four bedrooms, of which two have king-size beds that can be separated to form singles, and one with two single beds. There is also a room with bunk beds and one large bathroom. The living areas are open-plan and air-conditioned, and the kitchen is fully-equipped. The lounge has a TV with DStv and guests can enjoy the use of an indoor and outdoor barbecue. The cottage is serviced and provided with fresh bedding and towels every third day, with the exception of Sundays and public holidays. Coffee, tea, and wood is complimentary, as well as fresh fruit harvested from the farm.

Enjoy panoramic views of Paarl and Paarlberg from a spacious verandah, or relax in the garden or in the private courtyard with views of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains. Escape from life's busy routine and enjoy tranquillity on a working farm.

"After sightseeing during the day we enjoyed returning to our cottage to have a sundowner on the verandah,watching the sunset or going for a walk through the orchards, dogs in tow! Our accomodation was superb, and the special touches like fruit from the farm and a fridge stocked with spring water made it all the more special! Excellent value for money!<br/><br/>"

"Dit was 'n ongelooflike ervaring om by Hartebeeskraal te kon bly - alles was skoon, netjies en vars .....'n uitsig 'to die for' ..... enigste negatiewe kommentaar - dit was hopeloos te kort en ons sou nog veel langer daar wou bly.....Tanya is 'n hartlike en vriendelike gasvrou - wat ons soo tuis en gemaklik laat voel het - ons sal definitief terug keer vir 'n baie langer tydeperk!"
