  "We enjoyed our stay, although brief. The only issue was the caretaker who had access to our room via an internal inter-leading door that was locked - but she had a key. I put our bags against the door, but it was clear to us when we returned that someone had entered our room while we were out as the bags had been pushed out from against the door. Then, on our last morning at about 6am while we were still sleeping the door burst open and the caretaker entered the room. When she saw us still in bed she apologized and retreated. The concern is about the security of our belongings in the room when we are out.Other than this issue, we were very happy with the accommodation."

  "The garden furniture (chair) in front of the unit where we stayed are broken. I got injured when the chair"s "pillow" fell through its steel casing. I will forward pictures to the owner"s email when provided with same"

  "The location is wonderful being quite close to the forest, and hiking paths. All the facilities all available we need that make our stay comfortable. The only annoying thing is that the dogs are running up and down on the roof making undesirable noise."

  "While the Paarl environment is wonderful, I felt very unhappy about the unit (no. 5) we were offered. The so-called self-catering part existed of a noisy refrigerator tucked into the corner of a bedroom with an oven that cannot be used without causing a fire hazard; the pan on the oven is so high that you can barely see what is in it, and it is also tucked under a wooden rack about seven inches from it. The rack itself is too low and I had to tie a bag around a protruding part so as not to hit my head against it again. In the rules you are warned that a fee will be added if you do not wash the dishes; however, this needs to be done in the bathroom as the bedroom of course does not have a sink. While the bathroom is quite roomy and seemingly quint, the taps on the one basin leak and the pressed wood top under it is starting to show swelling of the water that has seeped into it. I established that the other units are apparently bigger, but the asking price for this unit was exorbitant."
