"Thank you to owner- Mr Reg de Kock for his kindness in assistance with airport transfer and transport from hotel and to the conference . Neat and tidy rooms. Friendly staff. Didn't get to enjoy much of the place due to my tight schedule."

  • "Not that satisfied"

    27 December 2016

"Although Le Bac Estate is a lovely setting and has a lovely bistro we were quite upset that we did not receive breakfast the following morning.

When I booked it was booked as bed & breakfast and according to all signage in the room, breakfast is served from 7:30 - 9:00 in the morning. When we went for breakfast at 8:00, there was no staff to be seen anywhere and no breakfast available. Reception wasn't open yet and we could not enquire about it anywhere.

So off we went without breakfast. I actually think it's disgraceful. When going on a trip, the breakfast, for me, forms part of the whole experience and atmosphere!!

I've sent an email to them but surprise....I have not heard anything back."

"This was a wonderful stay at Le Bac. They went out if their way to make it comfortable for the Epic Riders. Specially arranged breakfast for 4.45am in the morning. What more can we say. Hettie thanks for the doom. You really look after your guests!"

  • "Ok"

"The estate is beautifully maintained. Insofar as accommodation is concerned: The rooms are small but adequate. However there is no privacy between bed and bath rooms. One bedside lamp had a faulty switch. There was no hot water for a shower in the morning. The walls between units are paper thin so one can hear exactly what is being said/done in adjacent rooms."
