Oak Tree Guest Room

We offer a beautifully appointed guest room situated on a working farm in Paarl, only a short drive to various shops winefarms and restaurants.The room has its own private entrance and features a vintage double bed, an en-suite bathroom, an air cooler, a kitchenette with a microwave, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery and tea and coffee-making facilities with rusks. A secure parking bay is provided.Paarl is home to an affluent community with many attractive Cape Dutch houses, beautiful gardens and streets lined with old oak trees. The town and its surroundings also attract many visitors to enjoy an array of activities and interests, including the Paarl Wine route.Oak Tree Guest Room is just 5 minutes drive from the N1 highway, and a mere 10 minutes drive from Paarl. There are various wedding venues close by for example Ashanti Estate, Cascade Manor, Eben Hauser, Pearl Valley Estate and Mountain Shadows just to name a few. On the farm next door, the new Ashia Cheetah Experience recently opened. It has a Curio Shop and Deli which is definitely worth visiting.

"Room was very neat and clean. The locationand views are great! There was however no bin in the kitchen and with the rooms not being serviced, that is essential. There was no reception on the tv and we would have liked braai facilities, but thats just us. We also never met the host and some personal contact would have been nice. But overall a enjoyable stay in a very neat an clean place."

"We only stayed overnight and everything was neat and clean and ideal for that purpose. You can definitely stay longer if self catering and watching TV is not your thing. Simonie greeted us and made us feel welcome. The "old" furniture and decor is a nice touch and wife loved it. Just keep in mind that the room is attached to a main building, separated only by a wooden door and panel, with resulting sounds etc. It is a working farm so traffic, pedestrian and other, is to be expected."
