Picardie Guest Farm

Picardie Guest Farm is one of the oldest farms situated in the beautiful historical town of Paarl, in the Western Cape. The farm has its own natural spring, of which are bottled and sold to the public. We offer a range of products, including still water and flavoured sparkling water.

In 1689 the Taillefert family was granted the farm Picardie as well as the adjacent farm LaBorie, which stretched from the banks of the Berg River on the east, to the Paarl Mountain on the west. Picardie and part of LaBorie were later sold to Adriaan Jacobus Louw, in whose family it has now been for six generations.

Today Picardie is a working guest farm, nestled at the foot of the Paarl Mountain with views over the valley. Picardie is ideal for a weekend break away, a holiday or any special celebration. We also cater for corporate weekends and school groups. We specialise in wedding ceremonies and can cater to your every need and your budget.

"My daughter and i spent one week at Picardie Guest Farm. Really liked the space, the view we had from our room which was very comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Because of the numerous electricity cut, you should think of installing a generator. Otherwise, i would definitely recommend this place."

"We had a wonderful weekend stay. Attended a wedding on Saturday and the attention to detail was excellent. Wonderful wedding and conference venue. The room was clean and to enjoy the breakfast outside with a view on the dam was a winner. The staff is professional and friendly."

"<div>No i did not enjoy my stay at all, actually i wanted to leave that place in the middle of the night. First they gave us the room i didnt even see on your website while i was booking(a very dirty and smelly family room which to my eyes looked like is hasnt been cleaned for atleast 3months there where spider webs hanging on the sides too). I told them that was not the room i booked and they took us to the right one which was a little better but when i first came in the carpet was very dirty and i asked them to change it which they did. </div><div><br /></div><div>When we were about to sleep we noticed spider web on the stone walls by the night stand. There were no clean sheets we had to take the throws that they had spread on the bed and use them as sheet on top of that dirty navy blue blanket on the mattress and also took the sheet which looked clean clean from the single bed and used it, some towels were dirty. My Question was werent they supposed to be prepared before we get there?</div><div><br /></div><div>Safari needs to inspect these places before advertising them.</div>"
