This is a lovely self-catering cottage situated in the popular seaside town of Langebaan. It is within easy walking distance to the beach and Clyb Mykonos.
The cottage consists of two bedrooms, a private bathroom, an open-plan living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The lounge area has a fireplace and a TV with DStv access. All linen and bath towels are provided, except beach towels.
There are lovely braai facilities overlooking a private garden, and secure parking is available.
"<p>I think the information given on the website is not very clear on what is offered. Firstly I was not aware that it was actually a cottage attached to the owners house. HadI known this I would probably have booked else where. The cottage has a strange layout, with it actuallyhaving two separate entrances due to it being two buildings. The lounge, kitchen, bath and one bed is in one room, which a separate enclosed toilet. Thus if you are a young couple this is all you need. The fire place makes it very cosy. The fact that they have DSTV is a blatant lie as they only have a "Guesthouse Bouquet" which has nothing to do with DSTV. This open plan lounge area is adjacent to (has a door leading to) their garage so you can hear the garage door opening and closing. I am assuming this used to be their garage initially.</p><p>Then you walk up the stairs and out of this lounge to the patio (where they have a braai), into anotherdoor which contains theother double bed, a shower and bath bathroom and another room with twin beds. Right outside the bathroom is what seems like cupboard doors which when opened actually leads to their house. This bathroom's light kept on going off and we didn't have any hot water the one night while trying to bath my toddler. The drain in the shower was also blocked.</p><p>They also have two chickens which start making noise from early.</p><p>Overall the stay wasn't that bad but I wish I had fully understood what it was that I was hiring before getting there. That is also one of the down sides of a website like this ,as you cant actually call the owner to explain all these things to you as this owner is not too good with replying thoroughly on her emails.</p>"
"Money spent on accomodation did not equate the experience.<div><br /></div><div>Paradise Beach is situated in the same vacinity as Club Myconos. Stunning views everywhere.</div><div><br /></div><div>Room is clean and neat. Bed is very comfortable.</div><div><br /></div><div>The owner, Marisa does not bother to leave a message to greet or welcome you on the day.</div><div><br /></div><div>Keys were left with another guest to give to me on arrival. This was after spending an hour and a half outside the estate trying to get in. Marisa refuses to answer her phone.</div><div><br /></div><div>No attempt was made to contact me over the weekend to explain her lack of attention or regard.</div><div><br /></div><div>The toilet did not work and there was no cold water the whole weekend.</div><div><br /></div><div>Stay at another establishment where owner takes care of her guests and shows interest in their welfare!</div><div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div>"
"We stayed in the bottom room which is behind the garage. It is furnished very tastefully and has a free standing bath in the room. We enjoyed our stay, it is a short walk to the beach, no view of the sea but a nice patch of lawn to relax and eat breakfast. We took our two dogs which is a huge plus for us. We would go back. Marisa was a great host and very accommodating."
"Hi what a great weekend it was to stay in the heart of Paradise Beach. It was absolutely very nice and quiet at Shiloh Cottage and we have enjoyed it so much. We have actually felt at home, because we could've done what ever we would want to do. The owner of the place is also very nice and was very helpful to us. It was just a weekend to remember, because we did not expect that we would be staying at a place of this standard. The day when we arrive there have given everybody a "WOW" experience and the day we went home was very sad, because we have gotten used to the place, but to summarize everything about our stay there is the following sentence. "IT WAS THE BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!""
