  "The communication prior to our arrival was swift. Simon responds quickly and with politeness. We arrived to a very clean and spacious place. The multiple bathrooms contributed to our comfort and convenience. We were a family of 10 and the kids lobed the pool. There are booklets with ideas on what to do around the area and that was useful. Simon was always available the few times we needed his assistance. The place is homely and very welcoming. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the place to anyone looking for a place in a quite place!"

  "There are a lot of things to be improved at the White Giraffe River Cottage. The stay was pleasant and the house was okay, however there were still a lot of improvements still needing to be done. The shower door in one bathroom was broken, the roof had holes allowing bats in, which was eventful during the night and the geyser was outside which allowed for the copper piping to be stolen leaving us without hot water for two days! There was no broom, mop or scoop in the cottage and while the stay was pleasant, the attitude of the people we had to contact was not at all welcoming and understanding. I could write a whole book on the improvements and our experiences but definitely not a place we would go back to :("

  "Thank you for the stay. The lodge are very spacious and lovely too. We enjoyed it very much. There are only one thing that we are not happy with, and that was with the geyser, the hot water only last for one shower and the second person can only shower 30- 45min later. The lodge need a little bit more love on the inside. But other than that we will definitely stay there again. We are planning a trip with some friend soon. Thank you."

  "My son and I booked a room at the White Giraffe, but arrival on Friday afternoon, we were informed that due to unforeseen circumstances, the room booked was not available anymore. We were offered a cottage near the river and what a lovely surprise! We really enjoyed our stay and would really recommend anyone to make use of the same people when looking for accommodation in Parys. Thanks a mil!"

  "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great value for money and excellent having the three roomd for our two young boys. Only disappointment was that they were busy with renovations which we were only made aware of when we arrived which included not having hot water in the kitchen. The hosts were accommodating to our every need."

  "Nice large house, well looked after. Great balance between the antique and the new. Everything is clean and the house is very well equipped. Only spent one night but would actually like to come back and spend a long weekend to appreciate the area. Only bad thing from staying in this lovely house is it makes us sad to have to go back to an 88 square metre flat..."

  "Pleasant, clean, helpful staff. Abundant breakfast, watch out or you will overeat. We enjoyed our stay. Not quite the same as home, though - no place for your clothes in the bathroom; small bath, but good shower; could have another reading light and table on the other side of the bed. We will go there again."
