Jorene's Guest House

Jorenes Guest House offers self catering comfortable accommodation in seven tastefully decorated rooms. Located in Polokwane, it is conveniently a short walk from Peter Mokaba Soccer Stadium.

Six of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms as well as fully equipped kitchenettes with bar fridges and microwaves. They are equipped with air-conditioning and have TVs with seven channels to choose from. One Backpackers Room does not provide these facilities.

The guest house has a lapa with a TV, braai facilities and a swimming pool for the use of its guests. Breakfast can be arranged at an additional charge, but there is a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area that guests are welcome to make use of.

The guest house is near to major shopping centres and an array of restaurants should you decide to eat out. The area is home to some museums as well as the Meropa Casino. It is ideal for those headed to watch a match at the state-of-the-art soccer stadium.

"There were several things I didn't like at the establishment however, bedding was the worst. My husband and I ended up feeling itchy due to unclean sheets. The taps need attention. Noise in the morning was my other concern. Having to hear rugby in high volume while one needs to rest is not nice. Shades for the cars would be appreciated."

"Jorene's offers accommodation of excellent value. Their prices are very reasonable and you feel that you get more than you pay for. The rooms are very neat and clean and pleasant to stay in. We will certainly want to make use of their accommodation again.It should be noted that the "kitchenette" includes a fridge, microwave, and kettle but no stove."
