Our comfortable, 12-bedroom guest house is well positioned in a beautiful tropical garden, opposite the Rugby Club in Pongola and easily accessible from the N2.You will find that our rooms are clean, spacious, and inviting, with access to 24-hour air-conditioning, DStv, flat screen TVs, and complimentary tea and coffee. All rooms have their own bathrooms and various options of showers or baths are available. We have additional beds and cots that convert any standard room into a family room for your peace of mind, and there is also ample secure gated parking, a childrens play area, and a sparkling swimming pool. Our meals are hearty and home-cooked, and you can choose either a plated dinner in the dining room or a more relaxed braai on the patio, overlooking the pool and garden, while breakfasts are a full English breakfast treat.While many of our guests are working reps, consultants, technical specialists on short project visits, or families en route to Mozambique, Swaziland, Kosi and Sodwana Bays, there are those guests who wish to linger, and for them there is much to do in and around the fertile Pongola Valley.On a practical note, there is a well-equipped, modern hospital that is staffed with an experienced, professional and caring medical team, and the airport on the outskirts of town and can cater for most light aircrafts.Come and enjoy the Pongola area from the peace and comfort of The Guest House Pongola.

"The lights on the verandha are shining into the room through the glass door making very difficult to sleep. Only one teaspoon and one glass in the room? No breakfast was available when we enquired although a number of people were eating breakfast when we booked out? Very poor service."

"A pleasant room with 3 comfortable single beds. A very welcome aircon and fridge. Coffee and tea for your convenience at any time. Just what was needed in the room with en-suite. No frills to push the cost up. Ideal for parkrun as can slip out at 6:30 for the run and be back to shower before the departure time of 10am. Was just what we needed."
