"The view of the Beach as well as the fact that the Beach was within Walking Distance from the Cottage was absolutely GREAT! The newly renovated Cottage looked very classy :-) My mother and her sister said that they are definitely returning to Spinning Reel and this time around they are bringing along friends.Bigger tv's would be welcomed though :-) but other than that their stay was GREAT!Thank you RegardsCaron May"

"i would suggest you install air cons or fans so that the insects can be controlled as there are a lot of insects in the cottages. also a change of beddings. the beddings are ancient. everything else was beautiful."

"Excellent views and spacious cottage. However there was no heater (very cold at night) and the cottage was mouldy. This moisture-problem (fungi) is so intense that I'm convinced it's not healthy to rent this cottage until further improvement. Eg. we notice now that all our clothes smell like the cottage"

"We recently spent 9 days in a cottage at Spinning Reel. While the weather didn't play its part, we were very happy with the accommodation. Basic (as promised) but clean, neat and everything worked. It was also well-equipped and really close to the beach. I even saw glow worms - something from my childhood!thanks,Kay, Steph and Jess."

"Cottage I stayed in was basic but provided everything needed for an enjoyable stay. In fact it was a plus. A beach holiday involves sand and with children it's a relief not having luxury items that can get soiled. Closeness to the beach an definite plus plus!"

"We stayed in one of the beach cottages, the steep angled parking was a bit of a problem, but otherwise we have had no problems. The units are compact and neat and has most of the items required to have a lovely stay. the manager even went out of her way to keep the noisy neighbours quiet."

"We spent 4 nights at the Spinning Reels in a log cabin. The place is fantastic with stunning views and the sound of the sea all the time. It is well presented and although everyone says basic, it had a full kitchen and was very well equipped. No heating in the winter nights was an issue for my girlfriend, but fine by me. Would go back and if you want a quite "away from it all" break, you won't find a better location."
