  • "the view -the upkeep"

    30 April 2017

"the view from patio/lounge/main bedroom fantastic. the owner was very friendly - but advert did not mention that second bedroom was dungeon-like with no windows!also, place looks abit neglected - all diningroom chairs are ancient and should be removed.Lounge desperately needed painting and shutters didn't function properlyAlso, guests shouldn't be asked to clean braai upon leaving!all-in-all a nice stay but not modern as thought it would be, and therefore over-priced for off-season"

"Spectacular view, very friendly , can only recommend dishwasher and washing machine."

  • "Be truthful about the accommodation!!!!!"

    16 February 2017

"The only positive thing about the accommodation was the view, otherwise the house needs maintenance badly. Cob webs all over the house. The second ensuite ( cubbyhole bathroom) bedroom has NO WINDOWS!!!!. Its like a dungeon! I feel that the owner should mention that in the advert, as it was quite a dissapointment for the other couple staying in that room."

  • "Pringle Bay Beach House stay-we'll definitely be back"

    14 November 2016

"This was a piece of heaven-away from Cape Town's rate race but close enough to arrive before sunset on Friday. Peaceful setting. All we needed was there- no need to go for scenic drives-panoramic views from the balcony, living and bedroom, sheltered from wind, so spacious and a very friendly and accommodating host. <br/><br/>Thanks for a most enjoyable stay Mila!"

  • "Clean, comfortable, relaxing"

    04 November 2016

"We hired the studio for a 2 day midweek break. Booking was quick and easy and our hostess, Mila, kept in contact to assure us of the booking, directions, weather and availability of fresh produce. Mila even went the extra mile to collect advertising brochures about the area for us. We had 2 lovely braais on our huge private verandah and enjoyed the sunsets over the sea. It is not far to the beach, which is beautiful - and the people of Pringle Bay were all very friendly. G'M Schutte"

  • "Perfect for the weary soul"

    03 October 2016

"Our stay was just wonderful! The studio is just what you need with beautiful all round views of the bay & mountain from the large patio. The studio is kitted out with all you will need to rest your weary soul and reconnect with nature again. There is a super comfy bed (a little on the soft side) and it looks out through a huge window showing you the most perfect ocean view. There is also a fantastic shower and a built in braai where you can light a fire and see the night sky ignite with a million stars! Its basic accommodation but the surrounding is just so beautiful you wont mind at all. Mila is kindness itself and we loved getting to know her a little. The best part is sitting on the terrace outside with your coffee in the morning while the bird songs fill your ears as you watch the sunrise over the sea! I didn't want to leave and cant wait to stay at Mila's beach house again!!!"

  • "Peaceful get-away"

    24 November 2015

"As you travel along the little winding roads in Pringle Bay and you see the chimney of the Beach House right at the top of the hill above the beach, you realise that you are in for something special.<div><br /></div><div>The Studio at the Beach House is more spacious than the photos suggest. It is very well equipped for self-catering. I was ready to take the bed home with us!</div><div><br /></div><div>The braai and patio area look out over the entire False Bay, with little glimpses of the beach below. The view was amazing at all hours - sunsets are particularly spectacular. We could see the Cape Point lighthouse <g class="gr_ gr_548 gr-alert gr_spell undefined ContextualSpelling" id="548" data-gr-id="548">wink</g> over the bay at night.</div><div><br /></div><div>Mila, the hostess, received us very graciously and then we enjoyed the wonderful peace and quiet - the sound of the waves on the beach and the birds. Absolutely perfect.</div><div><br /></div>"

  • "Wonderful stay in Pringle Bay"

    21 November 2015

"The studio unit at the Pringle Bay Beach House is a great spot for a relaxing getaway.<br />Tastefully furnished, the unit has gorgeous views of the bay and sea.<br />The owner is welcoming and friendly and available on site to assist where needed.<br />The bed is super comfortable for a great rest.<br />One or two items in the kitchen could be added such as a hand beater or whisk. Also, the table top stove is quite adequate, but too high up for comfort.<br />All in all, a great stay!<br />"
