"We chose Grietjiesdrif as the place to stay as we were attending a wedding in Rawsonville, with the reception at Opstal Estate and Restaurant. The guest house is most conveniently located, being just 2 km away. Grietjiesdrif has the most beautiful garden filled with hydrangeas and oak trees. Louella and Johan have created a lovely warm atmosphere for guests and are very hospitable hosts. I was fascinated with the photos in their guest area of World War 2. Our accommodation was very comfortable and our daughter, aged five, enjoyed seeing the two donkeys, sheep, cows, chickens and playing with their dog. The views from their property over the vineyards and towards the mountains are fantastic. Breakfast was a treat the next morning, and I can only say we will definitely be back in the area and visit Grietjiesdrif."

"My mom and I only stayed at Grietjiesdrif Guesthouse for one night, but it was enough for us to fall in love with the guest house, the area and the owners. Set in one of the most beautiful, tranquil parts of our country, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is fit for a king. The owners are delightful people who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible and their personal touch is unmistakable throughout. Truly a memorable experience."
