  "Very lovely place for a stop over. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant just opposite making dining easy. The food at the Klip was lovely. I highly recommend the guest house."

  "The owner did not feel it important to welcome us in person. We were placed at a room next to the restaurant with noises until 2:30 am with other rooms available away from the noise. We waited an hour for our food at the Krip restaurant yet there was only three tables. The blinds at the windows broken as well as the warm water tap in the bathroom. I won't recommed it."

  "A warm welcome to greet us.<br/>Room spotlessly clean. Bed big and comfy.<br/>Great shower in a lovely clean bathroom.<br/>Had a wonderful, delicious meal in their restaurant, situated just across the road from our room. Loved the quirky little bar with its horse saddle seats.<br/>"

  "A delightful old-style farmhouse with large rooms, plenty of comfortable, crisply made beds on offer. We stayed overnight on our journey between Johannesburg and Cape Town and were thoroughly satisfied with the reception, accopmmodation and food on offer. We will definately stay there again."

  "<p>Must say, I was really impressed with the accommodation at Marina's Guest House. The room was not to my expectation as it was bigger than I had assumed. The staff members were friendly and I had a nice lekker pizza at the restaurant</p><p>Overall it was an amazing experience. Would definitely stay there if I were to travel on the N1 again </p>"

  "The accommodation was adequate and clean but I found the whole tenor of the place dark, dingy and dreary. Although helpful enough, the staff were rather casual in their attitude. When I arrived, I had to wait a while for someone to check me in. Breakfast was also very unexciting in terms of choice and quality and again, the guests had to wait for milk, jam, butter etc. In its favour: there was an effective air conditioner in the room and the place is attached to theonly restaurant open at night in the town."

  "My son and I stayed at Marina's for just one night en-route to Gauteng. Everything was excellent... the rooms were clean and well equipped, there was a delicious meal waiting for us (we had advised that we were arriving late) Felicity opened the pub for us and our vehicle was secured behind an electric gate and fence. We would definately stay there again."

We normally do the long stretch to CT in one go, but due to an addition to the family and a Golden Retriever as companion we had no choice but to stay over. We will definetely consider Marina's Guest House in future. Ps. the Karoo lamb chops at the diner next to the garage around the corner were superb!"
