Come and relax in our secluded cabin where limited cell phone reception will ensure recovery from a hectic life. No electricity (only gas) which offers the camping experience without the hassle of bringing your own tent. Enjoy the silence, look for the fairies, swim in the farm dam, take a hike in the mountains, do some bird watching, watch the stars and full moon through the trees at night and explore the surroundings. Die Boshuisie is a 4-bed self-catering wooden cabin with 1 double bed in the bedroom, 1 double bunk in the living area and cooking nook stocked with utensils and crockery. Also indoor and outdoor braai facilities and wooden deck. Braai grid is supplied and wood is for sale. Only gas facilities (gas lights, gas cooker top, gas fridge). No bedding is supplied. Ablution facilities are separate from the cabin and fitted with gas hot water geyser, 2 x flush toilets, shower, hand basin and sink.It is preferable to have a high ground clearance vehicle (not necessarily 4 x 4) to reach the cabin.Bring with you:food (one gets hungry in the woods) bedding, towels, bathing costumes, hiking shoes, warm clothes in case of bad weather, mountain bike, and a book to read. The cabin is nestled in the Langeberg mountains 10 km outside Robertson (nearest shops) and approx. 180 km north-east of Cape Town. A map and directions will be provided when you book.
