Oryx House

Oryx House has two options for accommodation; one is right next to the Breede River with a private jetty and the other is a bit further away. They are ideal options for the outdoor enthusiast and those wanting to experience the river to its fullest. Oryx House comprises two buildings with accommodation. There is a fully fitted kitchen, a lounge, a dining room and a TV area which is equipped for DStv should guests wish to bring their decoder. Oryx Hut is closer to the river and does not have electricity. This is a more rustic option for visitors. The water in the shower is heated by gas and there are LED lights. The hut has some cooking features, however a braai is the order of the day for this laid-back accommodation. The river provides opportunity for fishing, swimming, birding and long walks in nature. It is a true escape from the city and guests can relax and unwind in the company of friends and family.
