  • "Views for days!"

    28 September 2018

"What a gem of a place to stay, the owners are divine adding lovely little touches like fresh milk and farm eggs in the fridge... we also forgot to bring cooking oil which they also so kindly lent us to make our breakfast. The cottages are gorgeously finished with underfloor heating and a homely fire place. And the bath tub was pure bliss! Thank you so much Colin, our second stay and we can't wait for a third!"

"The little extras go a long way! Layout & decor is great, everything you need is provided and exceeded our expectations.Built-in braai on verandah would be great due to wind in evening & mattress might need replacing soon.Would definitely recommend and visit again - great weekend getaway!"

  • "Exceptional Attention to detail"

    19 March 2018

"Loved it all, all the little extras, fresh eggs for us, little condiments and home baked rusks for early morning tea. Loved it all. Highly recommended. Colin was attentive to us and very welcoming. Had very little time to actually appreciated the surroundings to due to inclement weather but a beautiful farm very well maintained and just all round a lovely space."

  • "What a relaxing weekend"

    26 November 2017

"My husband and I stayed at Forty Winks over the weekend and we both agreed it is by far the most relaxing place we have stayed at. The house is fully equipped and even has heated floors and towel rails. We went for a walk down to the dam, which was a great way to see the property. The best part was being able to sit on the veranda and watch the zebra walk past. I would highly recommend Forty Winks if you are looking for an escape from the city."
