The Museum Cottage is situated in the beautiful Somerset East Museum grounds, at the foot of the Boschberg Mountain. The cottage is ideal for a couple looking for a quaint, cosy self-catering cottage in a secluded spot.
The cottage has a one bedroom and an open-plan living area. The kitchen is equipped with a bar fridge, a microwave and an electric frying pan. There is no TV in the cottage. There is a small dining table where guests can enjoy meals.
Somerset East is a small town filled with a rich history and is named after the Lord Somerset. The museum is the perfect place to find out a bit more about his history.
"The cottage is not used often and had some spider webs and fleas!

Water was at best tepid.

The location is remote and security appears to be an issue which is overcome with electric fences and panic buttons."
