Beachcomber Cottages

The Beachcomber Cottages is nestled in a tranquil nature reserve with stunning views over a beautiful bay and direct access to an un-spoilt, sandy beach.

The Cottages sleep between two to eight guests with accommodations comprising two, three or four bedrooms and at least two family bathrooms. The open plan living spaces are welcoming and spacious with breathtaking views to the sea.

Beachcomber Cottages are surrounded by a whole host of wonderful wildlife. From the Oyster Catcher Bird to the Southern Right Whale, the coastline offers the most amazing wildlife. The Duiker roams freely through the Fynbos and the sand dunes. Springbok graze gracefully alongside a dazzle of zebra and all around the beautiful sounds of the varied birdlife.

Enjoy the tranquillity, wide open spaces and amazing panoramic views of the nature reserve and the Indian Ocean, relax, unwind and do absolutely nothing. The choice is yours. Regret no pets, motorbikes or quad bikes allowed since we are located within a nature reserve. Houses run on solar power.

  • "A beach all to yourself"

    11 April 2007

"A very peaceful time with an unspoilt beach literally all to yourself. The cottage is super and the eco-estate really tranquil so unwinding is not a problem!! Our first few days we had bad weather and found lots to keep us and the kids busy in Mossel Bay and the surrounds thereafter cricket and relaxing on the beach took over! Only complaint was the solar power had to be charged up (no sun in the beginning) so we had to be very careful with use of plugs and lights, but we can see this is not always the case."

  • "Relaxing"

    21 January 2006

"The cottage is in a lovely location very tranquil within a relatively short walk to the beach. Mossel bay is about a 15 min drive away once you leave the reserve. The cottage is not overlooked but the site is developing so enjoy it now."
