  "We stayed on our way home from Sedgefield. Yverne was most hospitable and friendly and made our stay an absolute pleasure. Her dinner too was far better than other overnight stays that we have experienced and we will certainly visit again as soon as we travel down to the Cape at the end of the year."

  "Yverne made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lovely open garden and pool area were very welcome in the summer heat, the accommodation was comfortable and clean and the attention to detail was great (such as separate towels for the pool). The cherry on top was the delicious dinner! This will definitely be our halfway stop when we take our next trip to the Cape!"

  "it was only a stop over en route to Paarl, however it was the best experience. Yverne has the warmst smile when welcoming us and the the cottage at the swimming pool..... To die for. It is spacious and absolutely comfortable. Every little thing has been allowed for. The dinner prepared and served in our cottage belongs Master Chef. Exceptionally tasty. I would definitely be staying at Ploegfontein again."

From hostess Yverne's enthusiastic and warm welcome, to the peaceful and pristine surrounds, the delicious home-cooked dinner, and cool sparkling pool after a long days' hot drive, Ploegfontein was a very welcome respite from our travels. We wished we'd had the fore-site to book a longer stay. We will definitely be seeing Ploegfontein again :)"

  "As we need to over night fairly frequently on our trip from Somerset West to Nelspruit -our choice stopover pointis either Springfontein or Bloemfontein going North. Ploegfontein was an ideal stay with friendly good service and very comfortable, safe accommodation. We will use again and recommend."

  "After a long day of travel, Ploegfontein was like an oasis in the desert. We had a hearty and warm welcome from the Hostess, doing her all to make us comfortable relaxed, also helping out with our kids. The peace and quiet of the farm was most welcome. Dinner was exceptional and of great value. The farm is also close to the highway and the road to it is well maintained (we got to the farm easily with our sedan). I would recommend the farm to anyone looking for a stop over on the N1. The closest fuel station is on Springfontein South of ramp, so fill up before going to the farm if coming from the North, or in the morning on the way out if coming from the South."
