Charter Guest House was started when the owners, Erna and At van Wyks last child of their extended family left home. It is a big and comfortable guest house with a relaxing atmosphere.

The city of Springs lies on the outskirts and to the east of Johannesburg, considered by many as a suburb of the city of gold. Much of its allure lies in its history - steeped in gold.

Breakfast is served every morning in the dining area and evening meals are available by prior arrangement. There is a beautiful private garden with seating for guests, as well as secure parking. Laundry services can be arranged on request and shuttle services can be provided.

Springs gets its name, unsurprisingly, from a large number of natural springs in the area. Today its known for its manufacturing and engineering industries and is one of the industrial centres of the country.

"That was my worst experience with an online booking. The only message they sent me was to tell me that they can't accommodate me for the times I booked, and this was after I paid and got my online booking confirmation. I called their numbers and they never responded or return my calls. My emails were never responded to, including to Safarinow."

"We went to visit my brother in Life Springs Parklands Hospital and the relaxing stay at this Guest House did us all good, we had a very good nite rest and a wonderful filling breakfast. The Guest House are perfectly clean and the hostess let you feel like family."
