Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of our self-catering services in the small, safe and hospitable community of Stampriet in Namibia. Stampriet is a small village resting on the banks of the Auob River and is perhaps best known for its fresh water springs and magnificent palm trees. Stampriet is surrounded by limestone ridges, red dunes and a variety of trees, on an almost endless resource of artesian water. A warm water spring is located on a farm only 10 km from the village and is a must-see for anyone passing through.

Indigo Self-Catering is located on the road between Aranos and Mariental, on the way from Mata-Mata to Windhoek, in the oasis of the Kalahari where the water wells up through the earth and gives life to lucerne and vegetable fields between the dunes and camel thorn trees. Stampriet Private School, OK grocer and Kaap Agri are all within walking distance.

Enjoy the comfort of our luxurious air-conditioned and fully equipped en-suite rooms with single and double beds. Relax in the neat and tidy rooms, with more than enough space to store clothes and other belongings. Our beds are specially equipped with comfortable mattresses and bedding for a wonderful nights rest, and our suites offer the privacy of your own garden and braai facilities. Cool off in the clean, refreshing blue water of our pool and relax or have a braai in the shade of the lapa.

"The place should be closed. The electricity cabling is very scary and calls for a fire to demolish the place. Although the room was clean the rest of the place looks like how we put it in Afrikaans a "Maplotters" outfit. We would most definitely not recommend it for anyone."
