Wawielpark Holiday Resort

Wawielpark Holiday Resort is a large resort along the banks of the Vaal River. The resort has a range of accommodation types to suit every requirement and budget. Offering so many activities, both young and old will have plenty to keep them entertained.

The resort has many free activities including a large heated indoor swimming pool for the cooler days, a wave pool and three cold water swimming pool where guests can enjoy some volleyball and cool off from the summer heat. There are two waterslides and two trampolines for those that like to keep active and a playground with swings for the kids. A mini game farm with lions, tigers, camels and ostriches is ideal for the animal lover. Guests can enjoy some angeling or spend some time in the sports bar.

The resort is equipped with a small shop that stocks your basic necessities as well as a takeaway place for those not wanting to cook or braai. An ice cream parlour is the perfect treat for the kids.

There are other activities available at an additional charge like the supertubes, putt-putt and paddle boats. Guests can bring their own quads and make use of the track. Canoes are available for rent and guests can partake in pony rides. There are also pool tables.
