Strandfontein Accommodation
Strandfontein is a beautiful seaside village situated near the mouth of the Olifants River, a mere 350km north from Cape Town.
Many inhabitants from the area have their holiday or retirement homes here. It has Long White sandy Beaches, clear blue sea and is the crayfish mecca of the local diving community. The excellent fishing is due to the vast array of fish species that are found in the Strandfontein waters just waiting for the ardent angler.
Strandfontein is also the Ultimate vacation paradise. With ample accommodation facilities and having top class adventure entertainment such as 4x4 Trails, hiking trails, fishing, boat rides, surfing, horse riding, and the wine tasting at sunset on the little harbour in Doringbay to end off a relaxing day at the most beautiful and unique coastal town in South Africa. Remember no shops and no traffic.

31 August 2015"We spent one night there last week and it was one too many..... The description spoke of luxury..... It is grimy, dated, cheaply set up. Toilet paper is not even white, it's grey it is so low standard. The towels are threadbare and colorless.... The only nice thing to was the sunset, which had nothing to do with the accommodation."

08 October 2012"Thank you for a comfortable stay. We had a very relaxing break. The room was neat and clean and the kitchen and braai facilities more than adequate. The friendly staff who were available to help but never disturbing added to an enjoyable experience!"

09 January 2012"Great views from this guest house situated in the middle of Strandfontein. What a beautiful town and friendly people! It won't be my last visit. The rooms were spacious and provided everything one needed. The bathroom was tiny though. I can also recommend their ribs and egg-in-the-nest breakfast."

25 December 2009"The room had a small kitchen, bathroom and balcony and was quite spacious. Nicely decorated as well. The balcony has a table and chairs, has a lovely view on the beach and the sea. Next door is a restaurant, which is quite handy, as there are no other possibilities in town. The owners had a function the evening of our stay and could not allow us in the restaurant but where so kind as to offer us a choice between two plates and bring our dinner to our room, which we appreciated a lot. Breakfast was good. Extra charge for cooked breakfast. "
