Erika
Erika is a comfortable home comprising of a very large lounge/dinin/entertainment area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and two bedrooms. The lounge and both bedrooms have beautiful sea views, as Erika is situated a mere 500 m from the main beach. It is approximately 200 m from shops, churches, and restaurants and is within walking distance from all amenities as well as Struisbaai's quaint harbour.
The house is built on a slope, with the main entrance on the ground level on one side of the building, and the sea-facing part of the house on a double-storey level with balcony. The large garden is protected against the elements by Milkwood trees and natural fynbos, as well as two lovely braai areas.
The main bedroom comprises of twin beds and en-suite shower, while the second bedroom has a double bed and access to a separate bathroom with separate toilet. All bed linen and towels are provided. The exceptionally large lounge/dining room area is ideal for relaxing with family or friends, or to just and gaze out at the sea. During the winter months, guests are able to enjoy a cosy fire in the evenings or on rainy days.
Erika's large fynbos garden is protected by indigenous milkwood trees and invites various birds as well as the occasional tortoise or buck. Erika is self-catering, with coffee and tea provided. Breakfasts can also be arranged on request. In addition, we offer a service whereby we stock the basic groceries for self-catering at a cost payable upon arrival. A list of grocery options will be sent to guests upon request of booking.

16 May 2019"We were very happy with our stay at Erika. Anne-Marie was friendly and helpful and the house was comfortable and clean. We particularly enjoyed the spacious lounge with its lovely views! The house was conveniently located with the shops and main beach just a few minutes walk away. Dishwashing liquid was provided but we had to get our own washing up sponge and soap for the hand basins, so future visitors could perhaps consider bringing these along."

01 March 2016"Hi. Enjoyed the stay thanks to good weather and Tuna fishing. Everything seemed acceptable, the lounge carpets are just a bit old and worn with marks on them. The balcony handrails are "VERY" dangerous loose and bit rotten, my boy almost fell over, luckily I grabbed him.<br /><br />Further-on everything was great! <br />"

05 July 2012"I enjoyed the panoramic view of the sea, koppies and fynbos. The fireplace was lovely for the winter. The shrubs overlappped the front pathway and should be trimmed. The kitchen is too dimly lit. There is a dripping tap at the washbaisin outside the main toilet. Certain of the light fixtures had no globes. Erika however, was a very comfortable house."

24 January 2011"Had two very nice nights at the house. There is plenty of room and it was nice to walk to both the shops and beach. Would like to stay longer next time because there is lots to see in the area. Also the house is good value for money."
