  "Dit is n baie mooi plek en omgewing wat baie verwaarloos is ek dink met die regte bestuur sal dit n prag plek kan wees wat winsgewend kan raak alles is daar dit moet net instand gehou word , met ons aankoms daar , die 24stewas daar niemand in sig nie daar is nie aanwysers wat die karavaan staanplekke aandui nie , wat vir my baie opvallend was ons was die enigste mense in die hele oord , maar ek kon sien hoekom toe ek klaar tent opgeslaan het ,het ek agter gekom daar is geen warm water nie , en dat die badkamers baie vuil was ek glo nie die plek is die afgelope maande skoon gemaak nie , ek moes begin vuur maak omdat hulle nog n Donkie sesteem gebruik waarmee ek nie n probleem het nie as dit instand gehou is , toe moes ek uitvind die dames badkamer het glad nie water nie ,nie warm of koud nie en dit is nie aanvaarbaar nie siende dat ek voluit betaal het , daar was geen een aan wie jy kan raporteer nie en met geen selfoon opvangs maak dit die saak nog moeilikker, die swembad se water was baie vuil , ek het die filter skoon gemaak en die sesteem uitgespoel en sodoende die swembad weer in n werkende toestand te kry wat meer is die fotos en goed op die webb site is baie misleidend die plek lyk lankal nie meer so nie maar ek dink tog met die regte bestuur span kan dit omskep word in n prag plek ."

  "<p>Ons was by Riverwild die naweek. Die pad is erger as erg Daar word wel gewaarsku die pad is sleg maar dit is baie baie sleg. Die yskas het nie gewerk nie en een van die deure kan nie sluit nie.Daar is geen maar geen persoon op die perseel wat kan help nie, al bel jy die persoon wat jy oorspronklik mee gepraat het Hy tel doodeenvoudig nie op nie. Die sleutel word vir jou gegee deur 'n persoon wat sit en slaap en ditis dit.</p><p>'n Lieflike plek wat so verwaarloos word en net uitverhuur word om geld te maak Ongelukkig sal onsnooit weer soontoe gaan nie en niemand aanbeveel om soontoe te gaan nie. Liewer duurder betaal en diens kry as daar 'n probleem is.</p><p>Dankie</p><p>Van der Westhuizens</p>"

  "Very nicely situated resort but showing signs of neglect. Management and staff were invisible. My young sons loved it but we were quite frustrated with the lack of maintenance. We would not go back."

  "My husband is doing the 3 towers mountain bike race at Mankele and i've booked a place for us at Riverwild in the River Edge 2 bedroom Chalet for 3 nights...The place is not up to standard! I've phoned Gerhard who's number was on a email you send me. I told him that the place was very dirty, there is no dustbin, the cushions are dirty, the previous people that was staying there left their towels (dirty) hanging behind the door in the bathroom, the couch is so dirty I cant even sit on it and this self catering chalet dont even have a kettle!!Gerhard said he will send someone to come and check and nobody showed up!!After one terrible night at Riverwild, I've searched for another place to stay at... I've packed my bags after on night and found other accommodation that was very good. I think you must take Riverwild off your website because this place dont deserve to be on your web! I won't recommend Riverwild for any one!!"

  "We stayed 2 nights while visiting Sudwala Caves.Access road had been recently graded, so no problem in the dry season for a sedan vehicle.Lodge on the river locations can't be beaten.We had hassles getting linen in our cabin, but were assisted.No/poor cell phone reception, so getting assistance regarding activities or complaints other than from the staff on site is not possible."

  "Enjoyed our stay beautiful place needs up keep.I think it a bit expensive for what you get it is in the same price range as Hazy view cabanas but you cannot compare.We were short of several things which we only got by midday the second day their was suppose to be archery river tubbing but no one to assist.The cabins could do with bath mats in showers a shelf of dressing table in the rooms.Bathroom needs somewhere where you can leave toiletries and shower needs somewhere to leave soap.Other than that they need to spend a little bit on the matinence of the place.We would go back if the place is fixed up a bit even though the road is bad to get their,it is such a beautiful place with lots of potential."

  "We stayed in the 4 bedroom lodge for the long weekend and it was amazing. The scenery is breathtaking and the lodge is comfortable and has a home-like appeal. The lodge provides you with everything you need for a perfect getaway in the bush. Although, the 9km stretch of road to Riverwild does take some time if you not in a SUV as it's a gravel/dirt road with a lot of rocks and stones."

  "Camping facilities are suitable for adventurous campers who want to live with basics. There was a problem with the warm water element and there were problems with the day/night switch for light on the camping grounds. The workers were however very friendly and helpful."

  "We really had good time, thanks to the staff at the resort especially Bheki for giving us a 5 star service. The 4x4 trail was good and the map was easy to read. We will definitely return with the rest of my crew."

  "Had a fab time- it was so much fun to experience that side of Mpumalanga. Will definitely return and use my jeep for the gravel roads, not for the smart cars as you have to drive through steep peaks. The chalets is beautiful and the mornings are just breathtaking. The river running by made it a peaceful haven. Thank you very much for the kind reception and the people are most friendly. Thanks to Gideon and will visit soon, with my Jeep of cause."
