"We had booked to stay for one night. I am not sure where the smell came from but there was a distinct smell of urine either from the mattress,the carpet or the nearby toilet. The verandah light stays on all night but the glass panel above the curtain let in a lot of light ."

"My family and I felt welcomed and nurtured at this home away from home place of beauty and fascination. Jacque was very kind and generous and treated each one of us and our friends the way we would family. The beauty is indescribable and we learnt lessons from Jacque that can only improve our way of life for the future. We can't wait to go back. The food was healthy AND delicious and the rooms were clean and spacious. Highly recommended! Our children were spoilt and given memories to last a life time. Jacque made many of their dreams come true, i.e. swim with horses in his dam!"

"We stayed over at Stanta Paloma Guest Farm on our way through the Eastern Cape, and from the moment we stepped out of the car, we felt as though we had been whisked off to an African Safari. With wildlife grazing right at the doorstep and a fire being lit behind us, we completely forgot about the 9-hour car ride.The owners are incredibly friendly and the rooms are beautifully decorated. We only spent 1 night here, but if it weren't for the place having been booked out the following day, we would have considered cancelling the rest of our trip and just spending the rest of our vacation here.If we are ever in the Eastern Cape again, we will surely stay here again."
