  "We book a self catering guess house according to the advert, however on our arrival we were told that we are not allowed to use the kitchen. and I asked the lady and she said we can have the kitchen if we book the whole house but to my surprise we actually booked all rooms."

  "The venue is conveniently close where we needed to be but what we didn't like was having to share the owner's quarters with them, the bathroom is across the hall and noise from the other visitors can clearly be heard even with the TV at an acceptable volume. There was no tea and milk so we bought our own. We had a choice of two rooms...one with a double bed but no outside entrance and a second room with outside entrance and two single beds both choices had it's obvious hiccups for us."

  "The room is part of the main house. So the owners are up early morning talking at the top of their voices. There was no advance notice that we would be sharing a bathroom. It was just an unpleasant experience all together."

  "The place is clean, hospitable and has ample parking space. There is also no noise at night. It is situated right next to a shopping centre where you can also buy pizza! The beach and other restaurants are not far. It's easy to get uBer rides as well"

  "I loved almost everything about this place.The only downside was the airport transfers,especially considering that we arrived on the late flight.But i forgot all about that once we were greeted and warmly welcomed by Juanita.She really made us feel @ home.I feel this would be the place to stay @ when i visit Port Elizabeth.She really made us feel special and as if we were her only guests.Keep up the good work Juanita,we need more hostesses like you!"

  "I will not recommend this establisment to any one staying for more than 1 night. Apart from the bathroom there is no other water point for the guest in close proximaty. even the braai area has no water point. There rules clearly state that you will be given a towel on arrival. what this literally means is that it will not be changed./ replaced or washed for the rest of your stay. WE STAYED FOR 4 NIGHTS. WE WERE A PARTY OF FIVE, 3 FEMALES AND 2 MALES. There is no aircon or Fan, The hostess is a virtual stranger, not frienly and almost non existant. I saw her when i got the keys and when i returned the keys. She did not come check on our level of comfort. I lie, she did make an appearance we were braaiing with a flash light and she came to switch the mains on by the pool pump. We tried the switches and there was no lights comming on.... But honestly i was not expecting the comfort of my home but atleast close would have sufficed. Sunset Guest lodge is definately a no no for me my family friends and acquiantences. I will also not book any thing thro SAFARI NOW. because thet don check and rate the establisments properly. No more safarinow. definately"

  "We did not enjoy our stay here at Sunset Guest house.Myself coming from PE and bringing my girlfriend for the first time to PE to stay in such an establishment was disappointing.The description and pictures on the website are not accurate to what is offered.We stayed here for 6 days:<div>No private bathroom comes with the room,we had to share a communal shower and toilet.There was pubic hair in the soap dish,not very pleasant.<br /><div>The double bed was very old and uncomfortable.</div></div><div>No fan or airconditioning in the room,room was very warm.</div><div>The decor is very outdated.Curtains and rails very dusty and discolored by age.</div><div>Towels had a damp smell and were old.l found an old dusty dirty hand towel on top of the freestanding clothing cupboard.</div><div>The rooms are unserviced.</div><div>During the whole time there no new bedding was provided.</div><div>The TV is very small and inadequate for the room size.</div><div>No mirror in the bedroom for my girlfriend to put on her makeup or blowdry her hair.</div><div>l hope the owners take this in a constructive manner.</div><div><br /></div>"

  "Fantastic place, excellent service, perfectly safe and great location. The owner was superb and could not help us enough! The owner went above and beyond of what is normally done. I lost my passport and the owner tracked it down and arranged for it to be couriered. She chased it everyday until it arrived and did not charge for the service, a true credit to PE & SA!"
