"We had a wonderful day and night at The Colonial on Arundel - everything was brilliantly organised and the accommodation was outstanding."
"Thank you Molly and Conor for accommodating us the past weekend. You are truly amazing and welcoming people. I would recommend anyone to stay at The Colonial on Arundel. You really went out of your way to meet our specific requirements. I have to mention Marley, the most energetic dog, but so kind."
"Everything was excellent, lovely suite and own dip pool! The welcome from Molly when we arrved after driving for most of the day,was the best start to a two-night stay - tea and home-made biscuits on verandah. Both are excellent hosts, paying attention to detail. As with other reviews, taking a trip into Addo with Connor, excellent as well - what can I say, but excellent, for the suite, food by Molly (yum!), Addo drive with Connor and the hosting skills of molly and Connor. Would love to return one day. Thanks to them both for a wonderful stay. Apologies for the delay in sending this."
"We've stayed in some of the world's finest hotels, and the service and ambiance at The Colonial is equal to or better than them. A real plus was the relaxed and gorgeous environment, and Mollie's cooking is to die for! Both Mollie and Conor were delightful and paid great attention to the little details that make a vacation extra special. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. (Also, Rugby and Zach kept us great company, as we are dog lovers....). Last but not by any means least, Mollie helped us make advance bookings for activities, and when we accidentally left items behind, she made arrangement to ship them to us. Also, she was also kind enough to lend us a book we had started reading. The Colonial is an exceptional place to relax and an excellent launch point for Addo Elephant park (Conor was a wonderful guide!) and other area attractions. We were thrilled with our stay and with our hosts!"
"Molly and Connor were very friendly hosts, excellent accommodation and breakfast. It's near Addo and the surrounding attractions. We enjoyed our stay."
"THE COLONIAL ON ARUNDEL is the perfect place for exploring Addo Elephant Park and the surroundings. Molly, Connor and Zac (the watchdog) are friendly and helpful hosts, who make the stay very special. Having enjoyed Mollys opulent breakfast we will never accept standard hotel breakfastanymore."
"The location is within easy striking distance of Addo Elephant Park and Schotia Reserve, and a short drive up from Port Elizabeth. The guest house is on an orange plantation which gives it extra atmosphere. The accommodation is of a very high standard and Molly thinks of your every comfort.Excellent hosts and you get a fully-qualified Addo guide in Connor into the bargain."
"The location of the B & B is delightful, surrounded as it is by citrus orchards (in bloom when we were there), and with cascades of bougainvillea in the grounds. The bedrooms were appointed with everything that a traveler could need.It was the extras that made the most impression though - the outdoor bath lit by oil lamps and open to the sky and the towering bamboos overhead, and the free car wash before we left in the morning!"
