Sunnyridge Lodge is a beautiful guest house overlooking Sunnyridge, a lovely and leafy suburb in East London. 26 February 2014"We were very disappointed with the family unitAdvert described luxury accommodation and pristine pool..... but ....Pool was green and full of slime - apparently out-of-order ? Bathroom was covered in black mould - even the ceiling. Shower and toilet were unusable due to smell - even with windows open. Curtains covered in mould. Huge area of paint peeling in kitchen and big stain on bedroom wall. The stench of mould/mildew was overpowering in bathroom and cupboards. Kitchen and bathroom is shared with 2 other rooms/units ? Was very difficult to find reception lady and we had to call owner to ask her to open and lock up when we left. very disappointed with family unit."

In particular, there was no ventilation in the bathroom and the double bed was squeezed into a corner with virtually no room to move. As a result we had no opportunity to evaluate the veracity of the glowing feedback on Sunnyridge Lodge's site."
