We have the perfect affordable getaway for you and your family.
An ideal place for family celebrations and reunions within only two to three hours from Gauteng.
Experience the blend of the bushveld with a nostalgic touch of the old and rustic, original Farmhouse.
We are also a convenient stop over for those travelling to and from Botswana.

Bed and Breakfast Accommodation:
The farmhouse can accommodate 10 people.
We have 5 bedrooms, including a family unit accommodating 4.
One en-suite bathroom, the others have separate bathroom facilities.
All rooms open onto a spacious verandah.
Price per person includes a farm-style breakfast in the dining area or verandah, weather permitting.
Special child rates available.
Ask for a pensioners discount.
Coffee / tea station available to all guests

Location:
We are situated about 50km west of Rustenberg, on N4 en route to Zeerust / Botswana
A location pin will be sent to any guest on request.
Travel for 9 km on the Hoebome sand road, at the T-junction turn left on the Woodstock Road. Travel 2 km. Salem Farmhouse is found on the right.

Visit Pilansberg Game Reserve near Sun City
Visit a choice of 3 Lion Parks in the area
Fishing and water sports at Koster and Swartruggens dams nearby

Midday and evening meals:
We are only a bed and breakfast establishment.
Unfortunately no self-catering facilities are available, although we try and accommodate our guests as far as possible.
As we are a distance from the nearest town, a selection of simple meals or traditional home cooked dinners are available on request.
A braai area is available for your convenience. (Provide your own meat and beverages)
Wood / firelighters can be purchased on site.
Mieliepap, sauce and a mixed salad can be provided at a reasonable cost, on request
Only bottled water, tea and coffee are served with meals.
Our borehole water is safe and delicious to drink.
We request that you bring all other beverages along please.
Refrigeration and ice is available.

Connectivity:
Good Vodacom reception, but unfortunately limited reception of other networks.
No TV / DSTV is provided.
Please bring along your own internet modem for all your devices.

Balance of payment for reservation:
No credit card facilities are available
Cash and internet bank transfers are welcome
Meal bookings to be paid for and arranged with owner, a week in advance.
