Swellendam Country Lodge is an accredited 4-star accommodation providing you excellent service! The owners, Jan & Vivianne Bruijn, and their enthusiastic team will ensure you of an unforgettable and highly comfortable stay. The lodge has 6 elegant and comfortably styled rooms with quality beds made up with pure cotton linen. The rooms are situated in a beautiful large, lush, tropical garden. Each room has their own private patio for you to enjoy some quiet time, surrounded by fruit trees that attract all sorts of African birds. The large, secluded swimming pool with sundeck complete with sun loungers and umbrellas is situated in the back of the garden (pool towels provided). The guests may also show off their athletic skills on the unique Boules-court (boules balls provided). The lodge and its rooms breath a relaxing and warm atmosphere and are designed to make you feel most comfortable.

"Lovely place to stay, very friendly helpful hostess. Room very nice except thecupboard is to small. It houses the fridge and a few dry items and my husband unpacks his whole suitcase, so there is no space for me, especially if one stays more than one day. Big bonus is that our car was cleaned before we left. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay there again."

"We only stayed for 1 night but it had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Nice secure parking and restaurants right next door and across the road. Location was excellent and easy to find. We received a warm welcome on our arrival. We stayed in a luxury room which had a huge bathroom, so welcomed at the end of a day of driving. Breakfast was an amazing feast of all types of food. There was also a pool area but we were there in winter so didn't make use of this. Would highly recommend."

"Lovely B&B located in a great part of town. The room was located in a garden setting and tastefully furnished with a very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast was amazing and the car wash as an added bonus."

"Betty gave us a warm welcome on arrival and we really loved the layout of the lodge with rooms reminding us of the Asian style where each has own private balcony amongst plenty of greenery and foliage. The most incredible fruit platter of homegrown fruits you can imagine and peaceful surroundings. Great Italian deli over road for supper. Thanks for a convenient and enjoyable stay twice round!"
