"This was our worst self-catering experience ever"
04 May 2017"1. There is no grass whatsoever as in the picture just sand and rocks.2. Open plan toilets is worst ever - everything gets flooded and wet water even runs into the bedrooms.3. 3 bedrooms but 3 rd bedroom is used as a storeroom and un-available to any guests.4. No previous mention that you have to remove your own rubbish 2 km away - for the ridiculous high price extra rubbish bags could have been left somewhere.5. Surrounds - pictured as quiet and serene in the bushveld - Ha Ha Ha with noisy neighbours 5 meters away and people hammering on their roofs and angle grinding during the whole weekend even on the Sunday - COME ON.6. The visiting animals were however amazing."

22 March 2017"An amazing house, everything you need and more! Hornbill was great and world class. The only issue I had was the fact that the Leeupoort resort section" is rundown and in bad shape, the facilities are old and need major maintenance!"

"Lovely accommodation & setting"
10 August 2015"We were sad to have stayed for such a short time. Lovely house, with ample space and well kitted out. Even though they have their own DSTV decoder, our DSTV card did not work as its silicon based so if yours is silicon protected, we advise you take your own decoder, card and power cable along. The animal life amazing and take bananas, apples, seeds and naartjies with as the animals love food. We hope that we will be able to return some day with friends for a long weekend."
