This Afro Zen-style Guest Lodge is ideally situated to explore Tsitsikamma National Park and close to Nature's Valley Beach & Lagoon. Surrounded by 12 hectares of magnificent indigenous forest with the famous Otter trail and many other trails nearby. 4-Star graded. Afrikaans, English, Dutch and German spoken.
We offer 10 air conditioned suites and rooms, each with a private patio and views of the beautiful lily ponds. Lily Pond Country Lodge is a mixture of modern comfort, personalized attention and tranquility. The owner, Margret, cooks with flair and presents her dishes delicately. There is a large infinity pool with decking on different levels. A restaurant on site with vegetarian options and patio overlooking the ponds and the pool.
Enjoy the abundant bird and butterfly life or book a therapeutic massage treatment. Wine-tasting, Hiking, horse riding, whale and dolphin watching, golf courses and Monkeyland, birds of Eden, Tenikwa Wildlife center are nearby.

11 October 2008"We have travelled a great deal all over the world - and stayed in many many hotels. A few poor ones, many okay ones, plenty of good ones, lots of very good ones, several excellent ones and very occasionally GREAT ones. Great hotels are very good or excellent hotels with a great deal of charm - and Lily Pond is awash with charm (as well as having lovely rooms, beautiful grounds, efficient and courteous staff, splendid wining and dining). It comes someplace in our top 5 for the sheer pleasure of being there - maybe even top 3!<br/><br/>It was delightful. We loved it. Cant think of a criticism - oh, yes, no After Shampoo Conditioner! We wish it were closer so we could come again soon, and will certainly recommend it with all our heart to anyone visiting the Western Cape."

06 March 2008"We spent 2 days at Lily Pond Country lodge, the food was superb. The location is excellent, easy driving distance to Natures valley, Plettenberg Bay and Storms river mouth. The garden suites are well appointed, very comfortable and the views of the gardens and lily ponds are beautiful. We highly recommend this establishment, and would return at the drop of a hat.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"

The accommodation was first class as was the food.The atmosphere on the estate was mirrored by the friendliness of the staff.
