Taliesin is one of the most beautiful houses on Knysna Lagoon. It is as close to the waters edge as you can be. High tide comes up to the lower deck. It offers the most luxurious of self-catering accommodation you can find. There is a housekeeper on weekdays from 8:30am to 2:30pm. She keeps the place looking great. Housekeeping can be arranged for the weekends if needed.It is situated on Plantation Island, one of the Thesen Islands in Knysna Lagoon. The Island is connected to the mainland by a long course way and the community is gated, making the island private and secure.Taliesin sleeps 12 in luxury. Five of the six bedrooms are en-suite. There is a wonderful feeling of space throughout the house. Lots of windows and high ceilings let the Knysna breezes in.Accommodation offers many decks with amazing views of the famous Knysna heads and Lagoon, large built in braai, 10 metre solar heated pool, large TV screen with satellite and surround sound, two TV lounges, beautiful gardens and underfloor heating.Island beach steps away; one of many in the area, steps from tennis and squash courts, several famous golf courses nearby, its own dock for 7.5 metre boat, near many fabulous restaurants (award winning Ile du pain), 16 km of safe cycling on islands, bird reserve just a two minute walk and a maid service five days a week
