Tranquility on Thesens

Enjoy sundowners on your north-facing private patio overlooking one of the main canals on Knysna Lagoon. We are on a quiet island with good security provided at the entrance. We have a luxury private room off the main house and a flat on offer. Guests are welcome to request a 2-man canoe to cruise the canals at no additional cost.

In the main house there is a large luxury double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has its own private entrance and double doors opening onto a wooden patio, where you can enjoy your morning coffee as the ducks swim by on the canal.

There is also a one-bedroom flat with a large open-plan lounge and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The flat has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is a private patio, perfect for sundowners and sun bathing.

"Sandy and Trevor were very friendly and accommodating. Tranquility is definitely the best description for it. It was the most wonderful place situated in the most amazing place in Knysna. The accommodation was equipped with a few essentials even though it was self catering which definitely came in handy. We loved the view and enjoyed canoeing around the canals with Sandy and Trevor's canoe. I would recommend this place to anyone, just too beautiful. Thank you Sandy and Trevor."

"The dishwasher and washing machine was a winner for me (not standing in front of the sink for the long weekend was a bonus!) DSTV for hubby - all the sports channels! Deck - private and serene. Bathroom spacious and luxurious. Space for MTB's in downstairs garage. We had great adventures launched from a fully equipped base camp!"
