Parkview Self-catering Units is situated at 2 Graaff-Reinet road Uitenhage which lies in the heart of Uitenhage. Close to all factories like VW & Goodyear and many more with the Zwartkops River just 35 km northwest of Port Elizabeth. Uitenhage is also known as the Garden Town for its gorgeous position in the foothills of the Winterhoek Mountains.

We are also just 45 km away from the Addo Elephant Park, making us an ideal stopover en route from Port Elizabeth, with numerous view stops along the way. The town itself was founded in 1804 so it has a rich history which is demonstrated in a number of old buildings that are maintained in excellent condition. These include building such as the town hall, the Drosdy and the court house. Victorian and settler architecture add to the town's historical attraction.

"This is a horrible place with cockroaches and ants on the floor. Noise from adjacent rooms is very bad and the wooden floor are old and shake everything when you walk. I did not have cold water for 24hrs and the owners gave me empty promises. The receptionist decided not to answer my calls. I could not use the bathroom and toilet because there was not water. This was my first horrible experience. I could not leave when I wanted to leave because there is no dropbox for the keys."

"No reception area. Garages grass overgrown. Blocked toilets. Cleaning ladies talking loud early in the morning. Messy showers. Almost slipped on the wet floor. Smelly rubbish bin at entrance."

"The check-in process left much to be desired, only discovering that we had to go to the adjacent property to collect keys. No towels or bath soap(surprise!) Floor and basin not clean on arrival. Beds were good though."

"Our unit at Parkview was spacious, comfortable and had everything that we needed. The shower room took some getting used to with the shower leaving the floor around the toilet and basin wet but did not spoil our stay. Will definitely stay there again."
