  • "The peace and tranquility"

    14 August 2017

"The setting on a working farm is beautiful, peaceful and real. Elmarine's care and hospitality cannot be faulted. Everything is reasonably comfortable and warm in the cold nights. The potential of the place is not being developed at all."

  • "Home away from home"

    31 December 2016

"We really enjoyed our stopover on the farm. Accommodation is very basic and the drought has taken its toll, but everything was clean with no problems. We were spoilt with a farm style dinner and breakfast. Our host (Ivy) was super and we were well cared for. Great value for money."

  • "Real old fashioned hospitality"

    18 December 2007

"Real old fashioned hospitality. This is an old farmhouse in the Klein Karoo - it is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are typical of an old farmhouse - large, even though the bathroom is small, it has a shower and a bath. The outside self catering units are adequate, but the real charm of the place lies in the friendliness and hospitality of the owner. It was finding a gem in the Klein Karoo, and I will return."
