"Beautiful log cabins tucked away in the hillside. Friendly staff catering to our every need - even cooking vegan supper! The hikes around the place are wonderful, rock climbing, cave exploration and perhaps in summer a swim in the pools."

  • "Not what expected"

    23 September 2013

"We booked a chalet with two double rooms, we were ushered into a room next to the bar with one double room and a room with 2 single beds and one crummy bathroom, we considered leaving and traveling back to George to find decent accommodation, the booking was also a mess as we originally booked 3 doubles and when we confirmed, only 2 rooms were booked, on arrival, payment couldn't be verified and they didn't know where to put us,total amateurs, never again."

"We enjoyed our one night stay at Eagle Falls very much. The two ladies on duty went out of their way to let us feel welcome. That includes making two breakfasts for the one guy for dinner the Friday night. We also requested an early breakfast as the two men in the party took part in the Trans Baviaans MTB-race on Saturday. They said that they don't do that as a rule but they will make a plan. In the end they had packed a container full of breakfast, sarmies, boiled eggs and pork and b ... more"

More than enough for an army. Thanks for that. The chalet was also very neat and tidy. What a pleasure. Next time we will bring the kids."
