  "We stayed in the Bethal unit. Very old. No kitchen. No refrigerator. The shower is in the bath and the hotwater tap was virtually non functional having only a trickle of water coming through. We have stayed at this facility four times with this stay the worst unit of them all. Will never stay here again. Stoep area very dark and had to make use of celphone torch to find our way."

  "Probably the worst part of our entire trip. Arrived to a room that was upstairs in a humid room (it was 32 degrees outside) and the windows only opened miniscually due to the gutter being in the way! I proceeded to ask reception if they had any room available with an aircon (they did and I had to pay an extra R200 just for aircon). We had included breakfast in our quote but for some reason when we arrived for our breakfast the next morning the lady in the kitchen had not been informed that we would be having breakfast? We were on a tight schedule and were only offered cereal and that she would have to start the hot breakfast from scratch and that it would take 25 minutes. I requested a refund which i was given but with a mere sorry from the receptionist and she returned to her computer screen."

  "We stayed one night for our 10th wedding anniversary in King Solomon's suite (executive room with jacuzzi). Staff was very friendly and we even had our dinner brought to our room. The food (we had dinner and breakfast) was very good. It was a traditional South African dish, but the chef can prepare any kind of food on request. I can definitely recommend a stay at the resting place to relax and rest."
